Teriyaki Pork with Green Onions and Broccoli































11 I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior. 
12 I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and I am God. 
13 Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?"  - Isaiah 43:11-13






1 Sliced pork Tenderloin

Marinade for pork

1/8 c Hoisin
1/4 c Sweet chili Thai sauce
3 T Soy sauce
3 T Mirin

Add ingredients to ziplock bag.
Zip and massage bag to stir.
Add Tenderloin.
Marinate overnight.

1 T olive oil
2 c Broccoli florets
1 bunch green onions 
2 T Roasted Garlic 
1 T Fresh ginger 
Pinch pepper flakes, optional
Dry roasted peanuts

Heat oil in large non stick skillet or wok. 
Add pepper flakes, garlic and ginger.
Cook 1 minute then add Broccoli and white onion bottoms, chopped.
Cook addition 1 minute.
Remove to plate.

Add another teaspoon of oil.
Heat to high and add pork and marinade.
Stir fry until pork is slightly crispy, then add the veggies back in. 
Stir fry another minute.
Serve over sticky rice.
Garnish with chopped green onion tops and dry roasted peanuts.

Cheddar Cheese
Sour cream 
Salsa
Garlic Black Bean Chips

Lay chips down, mix pork and tapenade, cover chips, add cheese and microwave.
Top with sour cream, salsa, and onions.

6 Boneless country pork ribs
2 t olive oil
Lightly use Adobo seasoning on each rib
1 c water
2 T Double strength tomato paste
1 onion
1 Mango 
1/4 c Bourbon 

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a Dutch oven, season ribs, sear in olive oil.
Add onions and Mango.
After the ribs are seared and browned, add Bourbon, tomato paste and water.
Place lid on and put in oven for 1-1/2 hours. 
Check pork to see if you can pull it with 2 forks.
If not return to oven for another 30 minutes.
Pull pork and stir around in the sauce.
Use on Nachos, make tacos or use in soup.

Spanish Tapenade

1 recipe of blistered olives, recipe this blog under the spread tab
1 T sun dried tomatoes 
1/2 t Balsamic vinegar
1 t olive oil
1 T Honey 

Place in mini food processor, pulse a few times until chopped.
Add to tacos, Nachos, crostini or crackers.

8 oz jar of green or black olives, drain
1/2 t roasted garlic
Pinch of pepper flakes
1/2 of a lemon zested
1/2 t olive oil

1/2 t Parmesan 

Blister in a skillet.
Finish with cheese.

Cherry Brandy Steamed Brisket


































22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom,

1 flat cut brisket, mine came from Costco, trim some of the fat off

Step 1
1/2 c Yellow mustard 
1 t Worcestershire sauce
Mix mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover brisket.

Step 2
Rub, I used mine, recipe this log under rub tab
1/8 c Brown sugar

Add to mustard covered brisket.
Wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3

Steam liquid
1/4 c cherry brandy
1/2 c water
1 Lemon, quartered 
1 onion, quartered 

Add to large foil pan. 
Ball up some foil to make the meat not sit in steam liquid.
Put meat on rack.
Steam liquid under.
Bake preheated oven 300 degree for 3 1/2 - 4 hours. 
Pull brisket with a fork.
Freeze for future use!

Brisket Philly Cheese Steak on Brioche Buns



































For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. - 1 Corinthians 1:18






The thing I love about brisket is, it's so versatile! 
You can make cheese steak or Cubans.
You can make gravy and add the beef, serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
You can make nachos.
You can make BBQ's.
Bake one off and go wild!!!


2 c Shredded brisket

2 Brioche buns

Caramelized Onions
Melt 2 T butter and add 1 onion, thin sliced, cooked until slightly browned, pinch of salt
Add meat to onion mixture. 
Set aside

Cheese sauce
1/2 c milk
1/2 c heavy Cream 
2 T Velveeta  
1/4 c mixed shredded Havarti and Manchego
Pinch of Salt, cracked pepper, smoked cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic granules 

On low heat, warm liquids, add cheeses and seasonings, cook until cheese melts and thickens.

To assemble, on griddle toast buns.
Remove to plate.
Add onion/brisket to bun, add cheese sauce and devour! 
You can add pickles, sweet or sour or pickled jalapeño would be good too!

An ej original recipe!


2 c Seasoned fries, cooked
1/4 c Cheese curds or grated smoked Gouda 
Sausage gravy made with 2 sausage patties

Sausage gravy
2 Sausage patties, cooked and chopped, reserve drippings, add 1 T flour to hot drippings then add 1/4 c milk or cream.
Season with a little garlic granules and seasoned salt.

To the cooked fries, add the cheese, then the sausage gravy.
To serve add chopped tomatoes on the side.

Shrimp and Pork Japanese Noodle Bowl



































21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.

1 package Ramen noodles, toss season pgk
1/2 c mushrooms, chopped
6 large frozen cooked shrimp, clean remove tail
4 c chopped green onion
1 sliced leek
1/2 c thinly shaved Cabbage
1/4 c chopped fresh cilantro 

1/4 t red pepper flakes
2 heaping T chicken base seasoning
1 c thinly sliced left over pork chop
4 c water
1/2 c Mirin
1/4 c soy sauce
4 t sesame oil

Sauté chicken base seasoned leeks, mushrooms, cabbage, cilantro and onions in a butter oil mixture (1 t butter, 1 t olive oil) until the veggies are tender, about 5 minutes.
Then add shrimp and pepper flakes.

In small bowl, combine water, Mirin, soy sauce, and sesame oil. 

Add wet ingredients to shrimp mixture.
Last add Ramen noodles and sliced cooked pork.
Cook 3 minutes.

Grilled Zucchini in Ginger Rice
































18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:18-20





Frozen Trader Joe's jasmine rice, cook according to box 

Place cooked rice in bowl, add 1 T fresh minced ginger, 1 T butter and 1 t sugar.
Stir until butter melts.

3 small Zucchini, chopped
1 small onion, chopped

Season
Sprinkle lightly:
Garlic granules 
Onion powder
Salt and pepper 

On a oiled griddle, stir fry until slightly tender. 
Cool.
Add to ginger rice.
Stir to incorporate.

Havarti Sweet Marsala Chops
































35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.
36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. - John 3:35-36





Bone in pork chops, pound a little to insure tenderness

Season for chops
Seasoned meat tenderizer
Smoke paprika
Onion powder
Garlic powder

In a skillet, sear in oil.
Broil under broiler for 5 minutes on each side. 
Internal temp should be 155 degrees.
Do not over cook.
Set aside.

Sauce
Splash of Clarified butter
Splash of olive oil
1/2 c Leeks, chopped
1 inch piece Andouille sausage, diced
1/2 c Mushrooms
1 t Roasted garlic
1/4 c Sweet Marsala
Light sprinkle of salt and pepper
1/4 c water with 1 t cornstarch 
Sauté and reduce.
Set aside.

Cheese for topping
Havarti 

To finish, add a heaping 2 T of sauce to each chop.
Top with bits of cheese and broil 2 minutes just to melt cheese.
