Anyone Not Against Us Is For Us


[49] John answered, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not follow with us.” [50] But Jesus said to him, “Do not stop him, for the one who is not against you is for you.”



1 pint of home canned white beans( I used Great Northern) 


1 t Bacon grease

1/2 c chopped onion

1/4 c chopped green bell pepper 

1 /4 c chopped celery

1 T roasted Garlic 

1t bay leaf powder

2 chopped green onions

1 T Creole seasoning *

Salt and pepper to taste

Sauté these ingredients in bacon grease.

Add meats. 

Add 1-/2 c water

Simmer.

Meat 

1 c chopped cooked smoked sausage 

2 c chopped ham ( I used ham I keep in freezer)


Serve with a green onion, cornbread, white sticky rice and fried chicken!

2-1/2 T smoked paprika 

1-1/2 T fine kosher salt

1 T garlic granules 

1 T onion powder 

1 T Mexican oregano 

1 T  sweet basil

1 T thyme

1/2 T black pepper 

1/2 T white pepper 

1/2 T cayenne

Crispy Fried Corn Tortillas Shrimp Taco for Two





























Psalm 135:5-7

        in the seas and all deeps. 

    [7] He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth,

        who makes lightnings for the rain

        and brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

4 Taco size corn tortillas (microwave 10 seconds)

Spread Cream cheese


5 jumbo prawns ( I used leftover ones from a shrimp boil cake) chopped 

1/2 Onions, sliced

 1Jalapeño seeded and sliced

1 t Olive Oil

2 T Bourbon

1/4 c Quesadilla cheese

1 t Toasted cumin

1 T Salsa

Sauté onions and peppers in oil. 

When softened add chopped shrimp.

Add rest of ingredients and turn off heat.

Stir to melt cheese.

Set aside to cool.

Heat peanut oil in a 6-8 inch skillet.


Spread cream cheese on tortillas.

Fill softened corn tortillas down the middle with cooled shrimp 

Flip one side over to seal.

Fry on one side until crispy and flip.

Drain on paper towels.

Serve with a slice of lime.

Half Sours



































Psalm 131:3


    [3] O Israel, hope in the LORD

        from this time forth and forevermore.



5 Kirby cucumbers

1/2 t coriander powder

1/2 t mustard seeds

1/2 t black peppercorns

1 t dried dill

1 t bay leaf powder 

3 cloves roasted garlic 

1/8 c coarse sea salt

3 c water


Wash your cucumbers and cut into quarters

Stir sea salt in the water

Add herbs and seasoning 

Put the cucumbers and garlic in your quart jar

Make sure your cucumbers are completely covered in water

Discard leftover water

Put in the refrigerator, sealed

Let them sit for at least 4 days


Pepperoni Jalapeno Muffins

































Psalm 129:1-2



    [1] Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! 

    [2]     O Lord, hear my voice!

    Let your ears be attentive

        to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

Spray Muffin pan, makes 12 Muffins 

Bake time 40-45 minutes, until lightly browned and centers are set.

Bake temp preheated 350 degrees


Egg Mixture 

3 whole eggs

1/2 c plus 3 T liquid egg whites

3 T half and half

Salt and pepper to taste

Whisk together, set aside.


Meat Filling

1 c chopped pepperoni( Boars Head Deli cut)

1 jalapeño, diced 

1/2 c marinated roasted red peppers, chopped 

1/2 of a onion, chopped

1 T roasted garlic, mashed

1/2 t olive oil

Sauté 5 minutes

Cool



Topping

Sliced Sandwich cheese broke into large pieces to lay on top (I used white American)


Fill each greased cup 1/2 the way from top with egg mixture.

Spoon 1 heaping T of meat filling into egg mixture, cover with cheese pieces.
