1 burrito size tortillas per serving

Picture 4 quadrants 

Cut 1 slit to the middle

Lay toppings on each quadrant 

Fold 

Fry in a little olive oil



Velveeta egg whites, Cajun seasoning 

Caramelized onions

Crumbled turkey bacon

Mashed microwaved potato mixed with sour cream salt and pepper

Walnut Fig Bread with Molasses Balsamic Maple Glaze



































Proverbs 9:11


    [11] For by me your days will be multiplied,

        and years will be added to your life.



1 1/2 c light brown sugar

1/2 c  granulated sugar

1 c butter, melted

4 eggs, lightly beaten

1 t vanilla extract

1/2 t kosher salt

1 1/2 c self-rising flour

1 1/2 c chopped walnuts

1 c slightly mashed ripe figs


Glaze

2 T Molasses

1/4 c Maple syrup

1/2 t Balsamic vinegar

Make and set aside.


Preheat oven to 350°F. 

Line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper. 

Spray with nonstick spray and set aside.


Using a hand mixture combine the sugars and butter until combined and creamed. Add in the eggs, vanilla, and salt and mix on medium speed for 1 minute until smooth.

Using the mixer, mix in the flour until just combined. 

Fold in the walnuts and figs.

Transfer mixture to your prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is just set and the edges are lightly golden.


Brush on the glaze while the bread is warm.


Cool completely in the pan, and then cut into squares.

Quarter Fold Chicken Burrito





























Proverbs 3:5-6


    [5] Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

        and do not lean on your own understanding. 

    [6] In all your ways acknowledge him,

        and he will make straight your paths.



Burrito size tortillas 

Grilled chicken 

Grilled veggies

Refried beans 

Mexi Rice

Queso dip


Heat veggies and meat and set aside


Look at your burrito, lay flat on cutting board

Picture 4 quarters 

Cut a slit down the middle just 1/2 of the length

On each quarter, place your different items, veggies, meat, cheese etc

Where the slit is fold over on to the next quarter then to the side fold to next quarter and fold last quarter 

It now looks like a rectangle 

Heat oil in a skillet 

Toast, mashing with a spatula 

Serve with Queso or salsa

Flambé Walnut and Banana Topped Ice Cream
































Proverbs 1:7


    [7] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge;

        fools despise wisdom and instruction.



Have your lighter ready

Have your ingredients ready except ice cream


1 T butter

2 T brown sugar 

Pinch cinnamon 

1 ripe banana split lengthwise

2 T Bourbon or dark Rum

1/4 c walnuts


Melt butter add brown sugar and cinnamon in a small skillet 

Add banana strips

Coat bananas

Add nuts stirring to coat

Remove from heat

Add liquor 

Stand back and torch  


Top a serving of Vanilla ice cream

German Style Brats Apples Onions and Kraut




























 

 

Hebrews 1:1-2


[1] Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, [2] but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.



5 smoked beef brats (I buy mine at Aldi)

1 t olive oil for browning brats

1-1/2 c German style kraut (Aldi)

1 sweet Apple, sliced

1/2 c Beer (light) Belgium White Tide (Aldi)

1 small Onion, sliced 

Sugar to taste (start with 1 T, taste and see, I used 3 T to cut the hop taste) 

1/2 t each Salt and pepper

1/2 t Caraway seeds 

1 Bay leaf 


Slit brat from end to end but do not cut through

Fry brats in oil

Brown all around 

Remove to plate

If necessary, add another t of oil for sautéing apple and onion

Sauté onions, seasonings, apples

When the are soft add kraut

Cook on simmer 2 minutes then add beer

Cut brats on bias and add to apple kraut mixture 

Remove bay leaf 

Simmer 5 minutes
