Instant Pot Vietnamese Beef and Gravy Over Garlic Mashed Potatoes

2 lbs chuck roast cut into 2 inch chunks

1-1/2 c beef broth

1 Onion, sliced

2 T roasted garlic

1 Leek, chopped

4 medium carrots cut into large chunks

2 T diced Fennel bulb

1 t kariff lime leaf powder

1/2 t bay leaf powder

1 T diced sushi Ginger

1 t Chinese 5 spice 

2 T Tomato paste concentrate

1/2 t anchovy paste

1 T mushroom Soy sauce

Heat IP on sauté setting.

Add 2 T olive oil.

Add meat and sear.

Add all seasonings and all veggies.

Add all liquid ingredients.

Place lid on and select high pressure.

Cook 55 minutes.

Allow natural release.

Serve over noodles or garlic mashed potatoes.

Ham Cheese Egg Breakfast Egg Rolls

Isaiah 55:10-11

    [10] “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven

        and do not return there but water the earth,

    making it bring forth and sprout,

        giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 

    [11] so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;

        it shall not return to me empty,

    but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,

        and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Pack of egg roll wrappers 

3 grated hard boiled cold eggs

2 c cooked and cooled hash browns

2 c cold diced ham

2 T half and half

1/4 c spreadable cream cheese

2 shakes Texas Pete's hot sauce 

2 c shredded mozzarella 

Salt and pepper to taste

Dash of garlic granules 

Dash of onion powder

5 diced green onions 

Mix cream cheese and cream together.

Add to other ingredients.

Mix well.

Mixture will be slightly damp.

Fill egg roll wrappers and seal with water.

Fry, bake or use air fryer.

I fried mine in Fry Daddy using peanut oil.

Dipping sauce

1/4 c Mayo

1 t mustard

3 T BBQ sauce

2 shakes Texas Pete's 

Roasted Two Cheese Tomato and Sweet Onion

Isaiah 50:10

    [10] Who among you fears the LORD

        and obeys the voice of his servant?

    Let him who walks in darkness

        and has no light

    trust in the name of the LORD

        and rely on his God.

I served this as a side dish to *Chicken Marsala.

Large ripe tomatoes 

Large onion

Balsamic vinegar

Seasoned salt

Umami seasoning 

Mrs. Dash table

Mozzarella 

Parmesan 

Preheat oven to 400.

Season with all seasonings.

Drizzle with vinegar.

Top with cheese.

Place dressed onions and tomatoes on parchment in a sheet pan.

Bake 10 minutes on bottom rack.

After bake time, turn oven to broil and move pan to top rack.

Toast slightly.

Serve warm.

Praline Maple Cream Cheese Bacon Stuffed Waffles

 

 

 

 

Isaiah 48:22

An ej original recipe!!

Waffle mix to make 2 waffles (I use Aldi protein waffle mix)

Maple syrup

6 pieces of fried crisp bacon

Praline 

3 T spreadable cream cheese

1/2 c toasted pecans, chopped 

3 T maple syrup 

Mix syrup and cream cheese until smooth, add Pecans.

Lay one waffle down, spread some praline on top, add bacon.

Repeat.

Stack with praline side up.

Drizzle with maple syrup.

This makes 2 salads.

seasoned and whiskey one Seared Filet of beef, thinly sliced and heated in skillet in 2 t Olive Garden Italian dressing

Chopped Romaine Lettuce, 1 large head

1 Chopped English Cucumbers 

1 Sweet Onion sliced thin

1 Chopped Carrots

1 Chopped Tomatoes 

Shredded Jarlsberg Cheese

Chopped Walnuts
