Crockpot Cranberry Gravy and Turkey Breast

[21] And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”


 

Good for sandwiches or a meal with mashed potatoes and gravy


 

1 frozen turkey breast, thawed( I used Butterball found Aldi for around $10

1 can whole berry cranberry sauce

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1/4 c orange juice 

1/2 c Apple cider

1 t Seasoning mix*


 

Unwrap turkey breast

Pat dry

Place in Crockpot

Sprinkle with seasoning

In a bowl, stir cranberry, soup mix, juice and cider

Pour over turkey breast

Place lid on and cook on high 2 hours

Turn to low and cook another 2-1/2 -3 hours until internal temp is 165 degrees 

Rest before slicing

Strain juice and make cranberry gravy


*Seasoning mix

1 t sage 

1 t thyme

3/4 t rosemary 

1/2 t nutmeg

1/2 t coarse black pepper
