Yeasted Sourdough Starter

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 Samuel 22:29


    [29] For you are my lamp, O LORD,

        and my God lightens my darkness.



2 c AP flour

1 t kosher salt

3 T white sugar

1 T quick yeast

2 c 105-110 degree warm water


Combine all ingredients in large bowl 

Stir until you get a thick paste

Cover with dish towel and place in a warm place

I put the heating pad under my bowl on 

low setting 2-3

Stir s few times over the next 3 days

Feed on day 2 and 3 with 1/2 c warm water 90 degrees and 1/2 c flour

Refrigerate after day 3 

Discard 3/4 c after day 3 before you refrigerate ( I made rolls with the discard)

Feed once a week same ratio 

Discard 3/4 c first then feed
