Proverbs 15:29


    [29] 

    The LORD is far from the wicked,

        but he hears the prayer of the righteous.



2 c AP  flour, aerated

1 T baking powder 

1/4 t baking soda 

1/2 t kosher salt 

1 T sugar

1 stick grated butter (put in freezer while oven preheats) flour both sides of grater 

1 c sourdough discard 

1/2 c milk


Mix sourdough discard and milk

Set aside

Place flour, salt, soda, baking powder and sugar in large bowl

Add grated butter to prepared flour

Gently work into flour

Drizzle milk sourdough into flour mixture and stir with fork to get a craggy dough 

Place on parchment (lightly floured)

Flatten into rectangular 

Fold over 3x 

Mash out to rectangular shape and fold 3x 

Repeat

Cut out with biscuit cutter

I used a 2 inch

Brush with milk

Bake preheated 400 degree for 18 minutes or until lightly browned
