Layered Penne and Meatball in White Sauce

 

 

Job 33:4

    [4] The Spirit of God has made me,

        and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

1/2 box Penne cooked al dente and set aside reserve 2 c pasta water 

10 meatballs, browned and mashed, set aside

1 c Leeks

1 c Mushrooms 

Pinch Red pepper flakes

2 T Roasted Garlic 

1 t Clarified Butter

1 t Parsley

1 t paprika 

1 t fennel seed

1/2 t salt

1/2 t pepper

1 t oregano

Sauté 2 minutes, add 1 t grape seed oil and 1/4 c flour.

Sauté 2 minutes.

Add 1-1/2 c whole milk

1/4 c Sauvignon Blanc 

Sauté until thickened.

Add meat back in.

Set aside.

Cheese sauce 

1-1/2 c Greek yogurt
