Sous Vide Asian Chicken and Broccoli Over Ginger Sticky Rice
































Hebrews 12:1-2


[1] Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.


 

Left over chicken*

2 c broccoli florets 

1 small onion sliced into thin pieces

Sauce really thin.


Ginger sticky rice

This is the recipe for the rice I make.

After the rice is cooked, I add the following ingredients.

2 T butter

1 t sugar

3 T diced sushi picked Ginger 

1/2 t dried parsley


Sauce

3/4 c water

1 t chicken base seasoning 

Stir together.


Whisk in:

1-1/2 t sugar

2 T mushroom Soy sauce

1/2 t anchovy paste

1/2 t toasted sesame oil

1 few turns Cracked black pepper 

1/2 t diced pickled sushi Ginger 

1 T roasted garlic 

2 T Sake 

Cornstarch slurry 2 T each water and cornstarch, whisked


Whisk together. 

Set aside.


In a skillet add 1 T of olive oil.

Heat, add onions, then broccoli.

Stir fry until tender.

Add sauce and chicken.

Thickens quickly.

Serve over sticky Ginger rice.
