Light Tasty Waffles for Two






1  God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God! 
2 For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads. 
3 They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones. 
4 They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!"  - Psalm 83:1-4





These are delicious!! Just like Belgium waffles from a restaurant!! 

1 egg
1 c white wheat flour
7/8 c milk
1/4 c olive oil
2 T sugar
2 heaping t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1 T vanilla extract

Using an electric hand mixer on lowest setting, beat egg until light and fluffy.
Add all ingredients and beat until incorporated.
Heat waffle maker.
Spray with non stick and fill with batter.
Do not overfill.
Waffles should be browned, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. 
To reheat, toast in toaster oven.

You can add chocolate chips or pecans to the batter.

Serving suggestion:
Butter and honey
Fruit, honey, cool whip
Honey, toasted pecans, powered sugar and cool whip
